Since 1985 Goldington Family Centre has supported families with young children. Our objective is to offer preventative measures to combat difficulties for young families under stress, to prevent family crisis and breakdown. We also offer crisis work and support. A wide variety of services enable adults and children to achieve their potential and enhance their life skills. We co-ordinate the local children's centres and provide a Neighbourhood Nursery, including a Pre-School.
Our qualified professional staff provide support and information for families with young children. They will help you work through your particular concerns and problems and provide practical help and support, and links to other agencies.
We provide a range of drop-ins, workshops, counselling services, and a range of advice services.
We will support you to appointments with other organisations (health, legal, housing, schools, etc.) to enable effective meetings.
We run a range of activities for both children and their parents / carers, run by qualified and experienced staff. These include, teens & tots, toddler swim, toy & equipment library, courses and various other children’s activities and services.
